Our fifth Super Bowl here at Stock Lemon looks a lot like the first.
2008 Super Bowl XLII (42) put us on the map as the go-to site for Super Bowl prop bets when we were less than a month old, so it's only natural that the New York Giants and New England Patriots meet again in 2012 Super Bowl XLVI (46), bringing about all the prop bet-related goodness that comes from Stock Lemon.
But before we dive into the props--and trust us, dive we will--we'll bring you the more traditional form of betting on the Super Bowl, the boring ol' spread and over/under.
And so, the 2012 Super Bowl XLVI (46) lines are:
Patriots -3
Giants +3
Over/Under 55 1/2
Our initial lean is to go with the Patriots to get their revenge in the Super Bowl rematch, while we think the over/under is underestimating the Giants ability to set the defensive tone in games and overcompensating for the fact that Tom Brady will be chucking the rock in a dome.
