2012 Super Bowl XLVI (46) Prop Bet: The Jim Irsay Mentions

Leading up to the 2012 Super Bowl XLVI (46) between the New York Giants and New England Patriots, we'll be taking a look at Super Bowl proposition betting, or more specifically, the funny or crazy Super Bowl 46 (XLVI) prop bets that you hear so much about. That includes props on the Super Bowl coin toss, Super Bowl halftime show (Madonna), the Super Bowl National Anthem (Kelly Clarkson), the Super Bowl Gatorade Shower dump and much more. Follow along on the Super Bowl sidebar to the right and follow us on twitter @stocklemonblog!

The man pictured above is Colts owner Jim Irsay. He has no business being mentioned during the actual Super Bowl, which features the Giants and Patriots. There is a prop bet about this anyway.

How many times will Jim Irsay be mentioned on TV during the game?
Over 1 EVEN
Under 1 -140

Keep in mind that this prop is from kickoff until the final whistle only, and his full name must be uttered. Also keep in mind that it won't be.

With all the Peyton Manning/Jim Irsay turmoil going on right now, it's a popular prop bet, as many think that this story they've heard so much about lately, though it's an off-the-field issue involving another team, will be mentioned during the actual game broadcast.

Well, it won't be. And if it is, it won't be more than once (which would result in a push... but don't worry, it won't be mentioned once).

Jim Irsay's moment in the sun is pregame and then the offseason, where the Peyton drama will play out. Not during the game. Bet the under.
